Petite Wedding Giveaway 2020 || Emerald Hills Events

The idea for this wedding giveaway was born when four of us (all Iowa wedding vendors) had a mutual goal to serve couples and spread the joys that weddings bring, even amidst this difficult pandemic. We also had a desire to continue being creative and do what we love while things had significantly slowed down. With these two goals in mind, the Iowa Petite Wedding Giveaway was created. With lots of love, planning, and creative energy, we hoped to offer a sweet couple the wedding day they were unsure would happen with todays circumstances!

This giveaway offered over $20,000 worth of wedding vendors, products and support. The wedding community in Iowa showed UP for this and we were blown away by the generosity of all vendors involved. Included in this giveaway was a wedding day photographer, venue, florist, coordinator, videographer, wedding gown and suit for the bride and groom, event rentals, stationery and paper goods, hair and makeup, spray tan, cake and the ever popular Beverage Burrow. Charlotte!

After the votes were tallied, the winners of our giveaway were Colston and Brianna! This sweet couple was beyond thrilled to win and we could not wait to dream up something beautiful and unique for them! Our mood board leaned toward a Palm Springs wedding vibe with bright colors and crisp lines and designs. It was an incredible team to work with and we think we made something they loved!

This was, without a doubt, one of our favorite events of the year, as we were trusted by the bride and groom completely with the floral design! Every element to this day, besides the dress and tux, were a surprise to the couple on their big day! We love creating when we have complete design freedom! We couldn’t have hoped for a more deserving couple and it was such a treat to work on this project!
