Abbey and Steven || Carroll, Iowa

Aren’t the detail shots stunning? Abbey and Steven’s unique style made it fun to play with the florals. We loved using the rich hues, draping and bold textures, and the permission to let ou creative mind take over.

The reception was a whirlwind to create, but so worth it! The pillars from the ceremony were repurposed behind the head table, and we added more florals to create a statement piece. The welcome area was a fun space with the cake, popcorn, seating, and another large floral display. The centerpieces inside were a mix of tall, cascading pieces, low and overflowing compotes, and long displays down the tables. The golden accents glowed with the candles and low lighting, and the live band was fun to listen to as we set up!

But enough about the flowers… how precious are these photos of the good times Abbey and Steven had on their wedding day?

This hometown wedding was a fun one to design! Abbey and Steven wanted several installments loaded with cascading flowers, and I was happy to oblige. Twig and Olive Photography did a wonderful job capturing the dreamy details! Keep scrolling to see more!
